Perhaps the first thing to note about Freshworks is that it doesn’t offer a mobile app - so if that’s a dealbreaker for you, you can stop reading now. However, this CRM solution does include some exciting extras, including AI-generated lead scoring, that could help you gain an edge when it comes to conversion.

Freshworks is all about teams, and about identifying high quality prospects. It offers built-in phone and email, and is designed to help your people co-operate in order to maximise conversions. Lead scoring is at the heart of this process. Freshworks claims to automatically score prospects, surfacing those who display signals that they are ready to buy. It then encourages you and your people to focus on those leads, clearly displaying who you should be following up with and who.

There are some downsides, though. Freshworks doesn’t offer some basic tools like social media integration, and you won’t get any invoicing or project management tools. However, you may be able to plug those gaps with other Freshworks products, for example their web conversion tool Freshmarketer or their collaboration platform Freshconnect.

Freshsales offers a free startup plan, with the first paid package available at £25 per user per month. Support is available by email and live chat, and by phone for customers based in the US.
