SageHR

SageHR, formerly known as CakeHR, was founded in the UK in 2012. They take a data-driven approach to HR, allowing businesses to generate meaningful insights from trends within their workforce. Automation is also at the heart of SageHR, with the platform intended to encourage businesses to streamline activities like shift change requests.

SageHR claims to be a ‘complete’ HR solution, and indeed it has many functions that some of its competitors lack. It covers all the key bases, such as employee databases, time off tracking, attendance monitoring, and scheduling. In addition, though, it has a comprehensive onboarding system, including applicant tracking through the hiring process. These elements are missing from many HR platforms, so SageHR may be a good option if you’re particularly concerned about hiring.

There is one big area in which SageHR is lacking, however. The platform does not offer any form of benefit management system, which could be a drawback especially in larger or growing organisations.

SageHR plans are available from £4 per employee per month. Support is available by email or live chat.
